The Gaydio Academy x JD Sports Fashion - Diversity and Inclusion in Sport social impact project. The wonderful Gaydio Academy supports the community through the provision of confidence-building, skills-based education and training. Course participants discussed the imprtance of Diversity & Inclusion in Sport, interviewed LGBTQ+ athletes, recorded their own podcasts and learnt vital CV and networking skills that will stay with them throughout their career. There is a vital need for LGBTQ+ media in the UK as much mainstream media continues to produce sensationalised negative coverage about us or ignores us completely. LGBTQ+ media is right now under threat because advertisers and agencies don't spend. You have the power to change that. Advertisers - ask for LGBTQ+ media to appear on your plans Agency planners and buyers - add LGBTQ+ media plans - it's not a huge cost but shows support for queer customers and helps ensure the survival of the sector. #lgbt
