We’re proud to be working with Northumbria Police on a four-year reactive maintenance framework that’s already seen us complete over 600 jobs! 🙌 This has included more than 500 responsive jobs from boiler faults to burst pipes, and our annual servicing of 28 stations, along with other various upgrades. Our latest project was a boiler upgrade worth around £104k, completed in less than four weeks. Our team replaced an old, end of life bank of 4x Hamworthy Broadstone cast iron sectional boilers fired by 4x Riello 2 Staged Forced Draught Burners with a more energy efficient bank of 4x modulating Ideal Evomax 2 Boilers in a cascade system. 🔥 Our team carried out all mechanical and electrical services, and working with supply chain partners, we managed asbestos removal, scaffold erection, insulation and commissioning. Thanks to our dedicated team and supply chain partners, we delivered an efficient and safe system. A new chapter for Geoffrey Robinson. Today, we’re marking the end of an era and the start of a new chapter. After over three decades of dedication, growth, and leadership, Neal Robinson has officially announced his retirement from the board. Neal joined Geoffrey Robinson in 1988, working his way up from summer jobs to become a pivotal force in the growth and diversification of the company. Since becoming managing director in 2014, he has led with vision and commitment, helping us become a trusted partner across mechanical, electrical, ventilation, construction management, and fire compliance services. His guidance has shaped the company we are today, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you, Neal, for your incredible contributions – we wish you the best in your well-deserved retirement! At the same time, we’re thrilled to announce that Andy Talbot will be stepping into the role of managing director. With over 20 years of industry experience and a strong track record, Andy has already led us to some of our biggest achievements over the past year, including securing landmark contracts and expanding into new regions. His leadership, along with the support of our talented team, ensures that we’re in great hands for the future. Project completion: North Manchester Hospital. 🙌   Our mechanical team in Manchester recently completed a project for Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. Designed and installed by us, this project involved the installation of four steam to water plate heat exchangers, replacing the existing calorifiers: 💨 Steam installation: Fully welded steam installation, utilising the existing steam feed. Each plate is equipped with new double block and bleed isolation valves for enhanced safety and control. 💥 Secondary Heating: Screwed steel piping. 💦 Domestic Water System: Copper press-fit piping. This upgrade ensures a more energy-efficient and better-controlled system for the hospital. Great work team! 👏 #healthcare #mechanical #teamwork #projectcompletion
