On the first Thursday of December the Christmas tree is lit, spreading its Yuletide joy. This ceremony originates to commemorate two nations and their strong bond during World War II . The Norwegian king and government fled to London when Norway became occupied, and it was from there that much of Norway’s resistance work was organised. Liverpool Gain Two Modernised and Refurbished SEN Schools Gilks have completed on the electrical and mechanical design and installation project for the redevelopment of two SEN Liverpool schools: Palmerston and Millstead. After being closed down for several years, this project provides fantastic educational resources and specialised teaching facilities for the area. The refurbishment of the two schools will benefit and support local children with special educational and disability needs. The project was undertaken in phased stages, with temporary facilities created to enable teaching to continue in a safe environment, whilst the redevelopment work was progressed.
