This year has seen real progress in the global struggle for LGBTQI human rights. Thanks to the remarkable efforts of our grant partners and other LGBTQI activist groups, we have seen the decriminalisation of same-sex relationships in Mauritius and Namibia, the passage of marriage equality in Thailand, and important strides toward marriage equality in Nepal. This work simply would not be possible without you – our community of supporters. Thank you so much to everyone who has given this year. Looking ahead, we warmly invite you to join us in continuing to support the global movement for LGBTQI human rights with GiveOut, ensuring that LGBTQI people everywhere can live freely and fully. Often against the odds, in the face of coordinated anti-LGBTQI efforts, GiveOut’s grant partners achieved important victories in 2024 with your support. Around the world, LGBTQI people continue to face discrimination, violence, and other serious abuses simply for being themselves. In response, LGBTQI activists are organising in new ways, protecting their communities, and campaigning for equality. We are proud to share our Annual Impact Report 2023/24, celebrating the vital work of our grant partners and the transformational impact supported by our community and allies. This report reflects on the progress achieved by our partners this year in advancing LGBTQI human rights worldwide, with an introduction from GiveOut’s Board and staff team, insights into our grant-making, and stories of impact across GiveOut’s five pillars of activism.
