An award winning walking and wayfinding app to help you discover walks, create your own and share outdoor adventures
About us
We are nature-loving Londoners and city dwellers who don’t go to the gym, sit at our desks all day for work, have young families and who love exploring our local areas. After discussing how hard it is to discover nice places to have short and long walk in nature, with friends and family, we wanted to create something that would help us get off our bums and be inspired by the great outdoors. Go Jauntly is an app where you can find local walks and create your own, maintain physical health and mental wellness and share your mini adventures with your friends.

Have you, like many of us during the #pandemic, discovered #green spaces on your doorstep that you never knew about? I've lived in #Southampton since 2006, but it was after the pandemic I discovered that we've got some excellent #greenways in Southampton, effectively green havens for #wildlife, among #residential areas. So I was delighted to work on "The Green Hour' project, funded by #PublicHealth Southampton, with the fantastic group of people who set up the free #walking app Go Jauntly. These curated walks, named after the local #residents who have a strong connection with the greenways, are uploaded on #GoJaunty and give you all the #knowledge you need to get started, including #step-by-step #photographs: how long the walk, #publictransport options to get there, #carparks, places to stop for breaks, and other interesting facts including some audio interviews with our local green heroes. I'd be delighted if you'd look into it and give feedback on any Go Jauntly walk in Southampton and beyond.

Highly recommend an anti-rage walk. Stare into the distance. Collect some leaves. Hug some trees. Feel the cold on your face. Enjoy the awe and wonder of the changing colours. Take up space. Breathe. #natureconnection #naturenotes
