Time to head home 🏠 PTC has underscored the task ahead for 2025. Not just for Kao Data but for the industry - and Douglas L., Spencer Lamb, Robert Gress with the rest of the team are primed and ready! Lots of different views but one thing is for sure it’s going to be a year to remember, so plenty to think on ( and couple of long flights back to 🇬🇧 to do it). Have you missed me Goldacre team 😉 Next stop TMT in London and then on to spend some time with the NED team in 🇮🇱.

🌴 David Bloom our founder and CEO is heading to the #PTC conference in Hawaii!🌺 It is a fantastic forum to delve into the latest trends in the ever changing landscape of the #DataCentre world, share insights and hold meaningful conversations with industry peers. Goldacre is looking forward to exploring how we can continue to innovate and grow in this space. While David's off enjoying the sunshine (and hopefully bringing back some inspiration), the rest of us at Goldacre are here in the cold, feeling just a little bit jealous of his Hawaiian adventure! 😅🌬️ Safe travels, David! #PTC2025 #DataCentreIndustry #Networking #GoldacreTeam #EnvyInTheCold #HawaiiBound

Our founder and Chairman, David Bloom, discusses the vital role of digital infrastructure in driving UK growth in AI and data centres, and the importance of the sector being recognised as critical national infrastructure. As David mentioned in his article "it is commendable that the Government seeks to lead by example and to implement AI into its own functions, but the Government cannot expect only to reap the rewards of AI, it is not a customer." We are delighted that Department for Science, Innovation and Technology has published Matt Clifford AI Opportunities plan in which the UK seeks to be an AI maker, not an AI taker.

‘It will come as no surprise to read that my view is that the UK’s digital infrastructure remains central to its economic future. Enabling growth across AI, cloud computing, and data-driven industries will help the UK economy to thrive. In 2024, policy shifts and market dynamics have shaped the UK’s attractiveness as an investment destination.’ Read more at The Tech Capital about our founder and CEO’s views David Bloom if government policy and market fundamentals are driving growth in the Data Centre market.
