About us
At Gold Care Homes we aim to provide our residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort is of prime importance. Privately owned by the Gidar family, Gold Care Homes has an established reputation of delivering high quality care and a wide range of facilities to their residents. An ongoing programme of investment means that all of the homes are well presented and maintained to ensure residents are healthy and content. Gold Care Homes was established in 1999 and has since grown to operate 26 care homes. The group offers a range of services which includes residential, nursing, frail elderly and dementia care. Respite care is also available on a short term basis, subject to bed availability, at most of the homes. Our management teams focus on recruiting, training and retaining the best available staff to ensure that residents enjoy the continuity of care which you would expect from a premium quality operator. These fundamentals are essential to provide a good quality care service.

We want to say a huge thank you to Transputec Ltd 🎁 On Wednesday, some of the #TransputecLtd team, including Chairman Rickie Sehgal and his gorgeous dog Coco, paid a visit to our #london based #carehome Acton Care Centre. They generously created multiple hampers, each full of interactive materials, toiletries and more to help in bringing joy and happiness to our residents at #ActonCareCentre. The Mayor of #Ealing, Councillor Yvonne Johnson was also in attendance, she praised the team and spent time looking at the goodies with our residents. We had a very successful Home Managers Away Day last Friday, where everyone gathered together for an afternoon, as we caught up on each others progress and thanked the dedicated managers of our 34 care homes. 🎉 We have some incredible news! 🎉 Gold Care Homes are so pleased to announce that Hatfield Nursing Home's Deputy Manager Nicol Tachie, has won the Compassion Award for Residential Care in the 2024 Hertfordshire Care Providers Association Awards. Over nine years ago, Nicol started off as a care assistant at #HatfieldNursingHome. She then progressed into her current role as a deputy manager, where she spends time training new staff while also providing excellent care to our residents, all with a wonderful smile on her face. The Compassion Award for Residential Care is given to an individual who works in a residential or nursing home setting and shows outstanding compassion. We are thrilled that Nicol's hard work and dedication has been recognised within the #care community.
