📣 Project Update – Travis Perkins, Salford – Travis Perkins plc We are pleased to see significant progress made by Wilten Construction at the Travis Perkins development in Salford, with the main steel structure now successfully erected for the 32,000 sq ft unit. 📣 Project Updates - Exciting Milestones at our Southwest Office! This month, our southwest team, led by James and David, has been hard at work hitting some major milestones across a range of exciting construction projects. Practical Completion achieved 🎉 We’re thrilled to see the Practical Completion of Merseyside’s largest distribution/production unit, Arc 500, last month for Tungsten Properties. This 500,000 sq ft cross-docked industrial and logistics facility in Birkenhead achieved an EPC A and BREEAM 'Excellent' rating. It also features Grade A offices, EV charging, and enhanced ecology and landscaping. Work is continuing on the surrounding 90 acres of open storage. Earlier this month, our client Classic Fine Foods UK Ltd | B Corp™ moved into their new office and cold storage facility in Park Royal, London, following Practical Completion of the fit-out. The 6,000 sq m warehouse boasts eco-friendly features like solar panels, smart lighting, rainwater harvesting, and biodiverse landscaping. Steelworks in full swing 🏗 Steelwork is underway on key projects at Longmoor and Avonmouth for one of our prestigious clients, with major infrastructure works progressing at the Avonmouth site, including the primary sub-station and S104 drainage works. Meanwhile, steelwork is progressing well for the 3 new industrial units at our Altrincham site for Logicor. 📣 Project Update – Early Access Granted, SmartParc Plot 9 - SmartParc & SEGRO plc Goodrich was pleased to give Early Access to the high bay and low bay freezer areas on programme at SmartParc Plot 9. This huge project milestone allows the incoming tenant access to carry out their automation and racking works, which is vital for their critical path and go live date. The freezers are not your typical "box in a box" design and utilise a galvanised exoskeleton to the perimeter walls to maximise space and prevent cold bridging into the freezer. 📣 Project Update – Newlands Road, Luton Glencar is continuing to make fantastic progress of Phase 1 on the Newlands Road development for Wrenbridge. The prominence of the building and striking roof design is really evident now with the cladding and roofing packages well on way to completion. Externally, the yards and numerous retaining structures are being installed to protect the busy M1 embankment. 📣 Project Update – SEGRO Logistics Park Northampton Goodrich is pleased to share that works have commenced on the Management Suite at SEGRO Logistics Park Northampton. Storm and foul drainage works have been completed, with retaining wall installation and kerbing works commencing this week.    A CLT frame design was preferred for this project due to its strength, durability, and lower embodied carbon footprint compared to other materials such as steel or concrete.   A combined effort from the contractor and design team has ensured the coordinated design was completed efficiently.
