About us

Govan Law Centre (GLC) is a free legal resource (Scottish charity no. SC047423). It is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. Our main office is located at the Orkney Street Enterprise Centre, Govan, Glasgow. Through the legal practice of Dailly & Co., Solicitors we undertake expert advice, court and tribunal representation in Scotland. GLC's national Education Law Unit (Lagh-sgoile) is funded by the Scottish Government. Govanhill Law Centre is funded by the Scottish Government, and the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. GLC's Parliamentary & Social Policy Unit is self-funding. Its Prevention of Homelessness Partnership is funded by GAA Ltd and GLC. Its Scottish Mortgage Rescue service is funded by East Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire and South Lanarkshire Councils. Its Ayrshire Homelessness and Prevention Service is a partnership funded by the Scottish Legal Aid Board. Tel: 0141 440 2503.
