Always a pleasure attending South East Wales Business Climate Coalition events, and this one was no exception! Outstanding quality of discussion. Enjoyed hearing diverse perspectives from businesses on the smaller and larger side alike and from different sectors (education, events, construction) – so much so that this is the only picture we took the whole day. At least it's a smiley one! 😃 As a customer obsessed person, something Nick Miller said today stayed with me, and I'm so glad he said it: it turns out that when you focus on pursuing value and not profit, profit just follows! 1) As for takeaways, the key one for me is we need to take sustainability from bolted-on to built-in approach if we want to reap the financial and business benefits. 2) We need to use this momentum and turn ideas into action. And keep creating value – for customers and society at large, because business has such a vital role in it. 3) B-Corps need to do more thought leadership – and we need to break the bubble and encourage people outside of this network to join in. After today, I think we're on the right track.
