Supporting students to GCSE success with science and maths at £60/ hour with our team of STEM tutor role models👩🏼🔬
About us
Green Tutors provide award winning tutoring and academic coaching to GCSE and A level students. Our qualified STEM specialist tutor team inspire our students to pursue their STEM dreams. One to one, or small group sessions have been scientifically proven to short cut the learning journey by several months. They are also a massive boost to confidence. With the STEM Stories podcast, we're helping to raise the profile of STEM careers. STEM is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths, and is a growing and exciting field sadly lacking in female graduates. We work to build your child’s confidence, self-esteem, and their independence, teaching them effective self-study methods that they can carry into their higher education. Our primary responsibility is to the student. In meeting their individual needs, we hold ourselves accountable for high quality. We make efforts to understand each student as an individual and to treat them with respect. We learn what motivates them, and what holds them back, and use that to build a study plan they can stick to with the support of our tutor team. Our tuition is designed to give them a fair opportunity to achieve their full potential. Georgina has been tutoring since school, and running Green Tutors since March 2011, working with over 100 students alongside recruiting and training a fantastic team of tutors. Georgina also coaches independent tutors to build their business online.

It's hibernation weather! But we're not letting it hold us back. Oodies on, blankets out, socks pulled up, and lots going on. This January, our channels are focussed on “What to Expect in Your Exam Year.” We’ll share tips for looking after wellbeing, adjusting routines, and supporting each other through the busy months ahead. For Parents: 💚 Look out for posts on how to help your teen manage stress and create a healthy study schedule. 💚 We’ll also share resources on building open communication so that when the going gets tough, everyone feels supported. For Tutors: 💚 We’ll explore new insights from the BETT conference in London and the Next Generation Assessment conference in Manchester and discuss how to adapt these ideas in your tutoring sessions. 💚 Expect strategies on boosting student motivation and managing January’s dip in energy levels. Stay tuned for weekly thought leadership, value-packed tips, and community conversations! Plus, as ever, critters.

3 Ways to Identify Your 2025 Anti-Goals this New Year 1. List Out Pain Points: What stressed you out most this past year? These are the habits or tasks to reduce. 2. Set Boundaries: Commit to saying “no” when requests don’t align with your priorities. 3. Track Your ‘Don’t Do’ List: Keep a weekly reminder of the behaviours you’re eliminating—like mindless scrolling or excessive multitasking. When you know what you don’t want, you can focus more effectively on what you do want. #Antigoals #ProductivityTips #NewYearPlanning #goal
