The #GreylineTeam have gone above and beyond in support of #LondonBoroughOfHarrow schools and young people, supporting multiple events in the last week to help the younger generation be ready for work. We supported Harrow High School, Nowerhill School and Rooks Heath School, providing support at careers fairs and holding mock interview and CV support sessions.  Also attended by Gareth Richard Thomas, MP for Harrow West, the events were widely supported by the council helping young people develop their career paths and offering guidance and training for their future employment.   "The students I have spoken to find the experience very worthwhile and rewarding and are taking the comments they received on board and updating their CV. Your feedback will help our young people prepare for work experience, DofE and part-time jobs…" - Varsha Doshi, Work Experience Coordinator at Harrow High School   "Thank you so much for joining us for our Careers Day today, we really appreciated your support, and our learners found the day so insightful." - Kevin Patel, Deputy Headteacher   "I would like to take the opportunity to thank you once again for attending our Careers Fair yesterday. It appeared to go very well, and our students, along with those that visited from Avanti House, got a lot out of it, as I understand that they asked lots of interesting questions of you. The #GreylineTeam recently assisted our valued client #Peabody commence the Career Ready Programme and this kicked off with our own Gurmeet Jassal delivering the first masterclass, with a focus on networking and communication skills; fundamental tools for professional success. On the run up to Christmas, the #GreylineTeam have been extremely busy giving back to the people in the areas we work in. Over the last couple of weeks, the #GreylineTeam has delivered an incredible amount of social value efforts through various initiatives. From dedicating time to assist food banks and raising item donations, through to volunteering and raising essential funds for initiatives aimed at supporting those in need over the holiday period, the team have truly gone above and beyond! We welcome our latest addition to our Apprenticeship Programme, Jamie Logan!   As part of our commitment to social value in our Mountside regeneration scheme for Harrow Council, local Harrow resident, Jamie Logan, has been recruited as an Assistant Site Manager on our Apprenticeship Programme.   He will be working closely with our dedicated team as an Assistant Site Manager developing his skills and training on several elements, including conducting site inductions, ensuring Health & Safety is prioritized, assisting with inspecting works carried out and attending meetings with the client to report on progress. Alongside working with and learning from our expert delivery team, he will also be undertaking a study programme informed by the CITB framework to further develop his skillset.   Jamie aspires to be a Site Manager where he will be responsible for a site of his own in the future, overseeing a project from start to finish and we are proud to help him achieve this.   Welcome to the team Jamie! #Greyline #GreylineTeam #PlannedMaintenance #MajorWorks #Regeneration #SocialValue #Apprentice #Apprenticeship #Training #HarrowCouncil #MountSide #TakingCareOfPeople #TakingCareOfHomes

At Greyline we care about young people and want to make a positive difference to their career choices and future and where we can, support and guide them on their journey to university or apprenticeships.  Our future construction professionals are very important to us and our industry,  that’s why in the last month we have visited 11 schools and supported 12 careers events across 5 London boroughs, reaching over 2,200 pupils and delivered 60 hours of input to help young people with CV workshops, mock interviews, and work readiness sessions. The #GreylineTeam do a fantastic job at engaging and supporting young people and offering all the help and career guidance they can, ensuring our next generation of professionals in the construction industry are given the tools and knowledge they need to progress.
