Newson’s Yard has been recognised on the global stage, winning its category at the 2024 World Architecture Festival Awards. This award celebrates the transformation of London’s oldest timber yard into a bustling retail destination. Featuring seven retail units, the yard is now fully occupied by five design and interiors shops and two food and beverage spaces, including the newly opened Wildflowers Restaurant. A new public route links it seamlessly to the Pimlico Road Design District, enhancing its role as a vibrant hub for independent retail, with full accessibility via gently sloping arcades. A big thank you to the teams behind this award-winning project! This weekend, thousands joined us for Belgravia's Christmas lights switch-on. With festive performances from the London Gay Men's Chorus, Fulham Brass Band, and Solid Steel, plus visits from Father Christmas, his reindeer, Nutcracker characters, and The Snowman from Sadler's Wells, it was a day full of holiday cheer. Principal Ballerina Marianela Nuñez did the honours, officially switching on the lights on Elizabeth Street. The festivities also included a pop-up Christmas market in Eccleston Yards, offering unique gifts, seasonal treats, and mulled wine. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special day. If you missed it, the lights will be on all season - pop down for a visit. #Belgravia #Christmas #FestiveSeason #Community

For 36 years, our Vancouver office has proudly supported St. Paul's Foundation. Each year, the team at our North American property business also volunteer to set up the hospital’s 'Lights of Hope' display—an annual campaign that has raised over $53 million since 1998. This year, alongside our work on the lights, we are dedicating a star in memory of our colleague and friend, Sherina Raza, who left a lasting impact on us all. We’re grateful to St. Paul’s for the difference they make in the lives of countless patients across British Columbia. Hear from Jordan Prior, VP of Property Marketing in North America, as she shares her personal story with the organisation: https://buff.ly/3YZ0kDY. #Community #StPaulsFoundation #LightsOfHope #GivingBack

Inclusive design is crucial for creating spaces that everyone can navigate with ease. With millions of people visiting our places each year, we recognise that as many as 1 in 4 may have a disability, alongside many more who face hidden challenges. This Purple Tuesday, hear from Aurélie Thompson, co-chair of our (Dis)ability Network, as she discusses the critical role of inclusive design in our built environment. Through collaboration with The Crown Estate and other partners, we want to change the way the industry approaches design, developing new tools to help property owners create welcoming spaces for all. Read more about the impact of inclusive design and tools to incorporate it in your work here: https://bit.ly/4faL2lf. #PurpleTuesday #InclusiveDesign #Sustainability #Accessibility #PeopleAndPlanetPositive
