GoNaturePositive! is an initiative that explores how to transform our economic system, shifting from nature-negative to nature-regenerative and we have launched an open global consultation and seek input from all sectors of society. The Concept Note "Framing the Nature-Positive Economy", developed by our colleagues from the University of Oxford and Aarhus University and reviewed by specialists in finance, public policy and nature-positive solutions, captures the key messages of what a nature-positive economy could look like. 🌍 Good News Roundup 🌍 (22nd June - 5th July) Good news about the environment continues to pour in from around the world, giving us proof that positive change is possible! 🐝 Architect Monish Siripurapu founded CoolAnt, which uses biomimicry inspired by beehives and trees to create cooling systems for buildings without electricity. The design uses terracotta tubes or clay tiles that cool air through evaporation, reducing energy consumption and providing an eco-friendly alternative to air conditioning.
