The club was faced with potentially having to cancel some events due to the degradation of some parts of the track at its home in Lake Farm Country Park. But, thanks to our grant, repair work has been completed ready for the season’s opening races. The club’s Paul Adams says: “We hold a number of race events here every season and the track needs to be of a certain standard. The berms – steeply banked corners – had been deteriorating over time and are really expensive to repair, so it was getting to the stage where we wouldn’t have been able to hold events.” With the racetrack back to high-quality standards, the club can continue to race, inspire future athletes and attract more members. ➡️Read more here: https://lnkd.in/dA5QBb-h
