In recognition of the 10th anniversary of our flagship global equity strategy, we had the pleasure of hosting many of our clients at the Tate Modern Gallery to celebrate this important milestone. George Mavroudis, President and CEO of Guardian Capital Group, and Steve Bates, CIO of GuardCap Asset Management Limited , welcomed guests and reflected on the past 10 years before handing it over to our global equity investment team. The team discussed what they have learned over 10 years at GuardCap and the 28 years that the strategy has existed and the way in which our investment approach has been shaped by these experiences. In a second session, they also looked forward to what may be some of the key investment trends of the future. As is GuardCap tradition, we recently took part in the annual Citywire Charity Run for the 7th year. Although not quite as hot as last year’s dizzying 31.C, the temperature settled at a much cooler 28.C… GuardCap had 7 runners this year: Michael Boyd, Henry Davies, Satvik Subramaniam, Daniel Massey, Elena Cullen, Sarah Lynde and Harald Janssens de Vroom. Most runners opted for the 5K except for Elena who braved the 10k!
