It's back again for 2025 🎉 Hampshire FA's FREE Grounds & Maintenance Forum will be returning on Wednesday 19th of March 2025, this time and for the first time, the forum will be held at our King George V Football Complex in Cosham from 9am - 3:30pm. This grassroots forum has been designed for all those unsung heroes who maintain the pitches, week in and week out, from line marking pitches, putting up the nets for matches, to brushing the pitches, ensuring supplies are stocked for the ground and everything else in between! Hampshire FA has teamed up with partners and industry professionals including Fleet Line Markers, MH Goals Ltd, Fisher Lane Groundcare Stuart Rittman, Technical Surfaces Ltd, ROD GASKIN LIMITED, MW Turfcare Mark Wilton, NMSB, Sports Labs , and the Grounds Management Association to host a series of outdoor demonstrations and indoor presentations, activities, networking and more. Additionally, the forum invites two guest appearances and audience Q&A featuring Neil Stephenson, Grounds Manager at Portsmouth Football Club & Graeme Mills, Head of Grounds at Southampton Football Club. Hampshire FA's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team have made another donation of groceries, supplies and presents to Jeans House, part of Young Lives vs Cancer, this festive period. Hampshire FA was provided with a list of essentials by the staff at the house and as part of our association's CSR commitments, we were able to fund all the necessities to cater to the needs of the families staying at the house over the festive period. Jean’s House is a 'Home from Home' close to Southampton Hospital that offers free accommodation for families to stay close to their children and loved ones as they undergo treatment for cancer. We wish to thank our partners at Peter Cooper Motor Group for use of the company van which has allowed us to transport all groceries, games and donated items to the house. Additionally, we would like to extend our grateful thanks to our partners at Savvy Accountancy Solutions for donating Christmas presents that will be distributed to the young people staying at the house. Get your nominations in early for the Hampshire FA Partnership of the Year Award sponsored by Paris Smith LLP. Hampshire FA affiliated clubs and/or leagues are now invited to submit entries for the 2024-25 season. **Award Details** Two awards are available this season: a winner and a runners-up award. The club and/or league must be able to demonstrate how the partnership has made a significant impact with evidence to support this submission. This could be a partnership that has yielded results in the form of: ⚽Setting up additional teams based on the funds of the partnership and/or sponsorship. ⚽Putting on a local community event jointly with the sponsor that may have made the local press and drawn interest back to their club or league with new players or volunteers. ⚽Contributed to the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility goals through joined-up collaboration on environmental activities. ⚽Upskilled the workforce of volunteers. Sponsorship and/or partnership monies have funded or subsidised coaching qualifications for existing volunteers, creating new development opportunities for the club.
