👋 We were pleased to welcome MP for Ely and East Cambridgeshire Charlotte Cane and South Cambridgeshire District Councillor Anna Bradnam, to our ASIC Centre of Excellence in the Cambridge Science Park. Our Cambridge facility is responsible for the design and development of custom ASIC chips, which are the backbone of our technological capabilities, enabling us to tackle power consumption issues that have long impacted the global satellite communications industry. 🤝 Since entering the UK market four years ago, Hanwha Phasor has grown significantly, expanding our staff from 9 to over 115, whilst investing £90 million into the UK market, including £18 million in the Centre of Excellence in Cambridge. “We look forward to growing our partnership with the local community, growing our team and creating jobs and education opportunities in the region,” said our COO Dominic Philpott. We are excited to share that we have successfully demonstrated our mobile land communication solution, the Phasor L3300 user terminal, uniquely developed with a dual receive function allowing users a “make-before-break” capability. Those who attended the demo included commercial businesses, national armed forces and high-level defence officials, as well as Special Operations stakeholders who used the demonstration of the Phasor L3300 to take an HD video call with their international headquarters, using two different satellite service providers. This demonstration is an important product milestone as we look to bring the Phasor L3300 to market in the first half of 2025.
