The Royal Ballet and Opera has been a client of Harlequin for over 30 years, working together on various productions using a range of Harlequin sprung and vinyl performance floors. The auditorium has a solid theatre stage which is mostly used during the opera productions. When the Royal Ballet needs to rehearse and perform on the main stage, the stage crew changes the floor using a ballet wagon with bespoke Harlequin Liberty sprung floor panels. Earlier this year Europaballett's training rooms were severely flooded, causing damage to its dance studios! They are now looking to raise money to replace the Harlequin sprung and vinyl floors. In the meantime, Europaballett has a temporary Harlequin Liberty sprung floor with a Harlequin Reversible top surface, provided by Harlequin, whilst the fundraising and renovations take place. The Europaballett performs classical pieces like The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Swan Lake, as well as modern and contemporary works. The company also tours internationally, performing in places like Switzerland, Germany, the USA and Canada.
