📣 We welcome the Innovation Ecosystem Programme recommendations, published today. The report rightly highlights the need for a focus on clearly defined national health innovation priorities, incentivising the partnership working required to deliver innovation, and improved alignment and shared accountability for innovation adoption performance. Our decade’s experience of innovating in the NHS has demonstrated that innovation is a team sport, and it works best when all the necessary players are enabled to play their specific, but coordinated, roles as the examples laid out in this report highlight. 🎉 Exciting First Day at the Accelerating FemTech Programme! 🚀 Today, we started the Accelerating FemTech programme at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists | RCOG Met some amazing new founders like Dr Sujitha Selvarajah 🌟 This initiative, delivered by the HIN South London and funded by Innovate UK’s Biomedical Catalyst, supports early-stage innovators in tackling key women’s health challenges. Here’s what I liked today: - Expert Guidance: Access to tailored workshops, mentoring, and peer learning to refine our innovations. - Focus on Women’s Health: Tackling critical issues like menstruation management, chronic pelvic pain, and building a new healthcare system for women! - Collaborative Community: A chance to network with like-minded entrepreneurs, academics, and stakeholders across the NHS and academia.
