  • What is key account management, and why does it matter? 🤔 If you’re in a law firm or accountancy practice, you’ve probably heard the buzz around Key Account Management (KAM) and how it can transform client relationships and boost your firm’s growth. But if you’ve never set up a KAM programme before, it can seem like a daunting task. Here are some of my top 3 tips to get you started: 🔎 Identify your key accounts - these are clients who are vital to your firm’s success. Clients who consistently bring in high revenue, have potential for long-term growth, or play a crucial role in your firm’s strategic objectives are prime candidates for key account status. ✅ Assign account managers - these individuals will be the main point of contact for the client and will be responsible for nurturing and growing the relationship. 📈 Performance monitoring - keep track of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as client satisfaction, revenue growth, and service utilisation. Use this data to refine your approach, address any issues, and ensure that the relationship continues to grow.
