  • Viewing homes in winter? Keep these key questions in mind to ensure your new property is cosy, efficient, and ready for colder months: 1️⃣ How well is it insulated? Ask about insulation, double-glazing, and energy efficiency. A well-insulated home saves on heating bills and keeps you warm all winter long. 2️⃣ Any signs of damp or mould? Winter can highlight damp issues. Check for patches or stains on walls and ceilings, and ask about any history of moisture problems. 3️⃣ How effective is the heating? A reliable heating system is a must in winter. Test the heating during your viewing and ask about the age of the boiler or central system. 4️⃣ What’s the roof and gutter condition? Snow and rain can reveal roof issues. Look for leaks or sagging gutters and ask about recent repairs or maintenance. 🌟Don't let winter weather hold you back—ask the right questions to make the best decision! Ready to explore your options?
