Delighted to be involved in yet another Ultimate Performance opening, this time on Pitt Street in the central business district of Sydney. It was a pleasure to provide the brand design support, pre-construction phase guidance and fit out auditing, albeit challenging for a site GMT+9hrs ahead! Massive shout out to Livio Kriletic, Amber Griffiths, Emily Hastings & Shaun Kilgallon of Amicus for their tireless work to get this project over the line. Heron Project Management lead by Luigi Cocozza are thrilled to be part of the Ultimate Performance development team and its expansion of the world’s only truly global personal training business.

Last week saw the official handover of our second Hickory’s Smokehouse site, across in Lincoln. The site saw conversion from the existing, Gamekeeper restaurant to the latest brand concept for Hickory’s Smokehouse. The project consisted of a full strip out of existing trade area, existing internal play area/barn, existing toilets and the staff accommodation areas, followed by a complete refit to bring to life the latest location for the Deep South eatery. The fit out included introduction of new toilet areas, new children’s feature cinema, new barn dining area, introduction of standard brand features including Chefs Counter and the main bar/dispense area, complimented by the solid oak flooring, reclaimed timber/metal wall features, decorations and lighting scheme. External works included the signature wall cladding, construction of external dining huts, construction of feature external dining verandas along with a significant car park extension utilising the latest permeable grid car park solution. Thank you to our Adam and his team, all our valued subcontractors and the office team for making this happen. Along with all of the client directs, to mention Barlows (UK) Ltd and Dawnvale. These projects are a huge team effort and it was a pleasure delivering this for Steve Leddington and Adam Swift MRICS, alongside David Walker from Heron Project Management Ltd, Oscar Wightman at 29 Cost Management and Nathan and Warwick at Harrison Design.
