🚨 Addressing Environmental Quality Issues and Optimizing Energy Efficiency with Data-Driven Insights 🚨 We’re committed to ensuring optimal indoor environmental quality (IEQ) while maximizing energy efficiency through intelligent data capture and monitoring. Recently, we deployed a comprehensive suite of IEQ sensors (CO2, LUX, temperature, and humidity) across 4 floors of an office building for one of our key clients, and the results have been game changing. 📊 🔍 Key Findings: • Our BMS data analysis revealed high CO2 and humidity levels in multiple zones, pointing to ventilation issues. Further investigation revealed faults in the main Air Handling Unit (AHU), including a faulty BMS controller, which had been compromising airflow and air quality. These issues are now being resolved, all thanks to our intelligent monitoring system. • Our LUX data highlighted several areas of the building with lighting levels below the recommended threshold for office desk workers. Ensuring adequate lighting is critical for both productivity and well-being, and these deficiencies are also now being addressed. 💡 Leveraging CO2 Data for Energy Savings: CO2 is a direct reflection of human occupancy, and by analyzing the CO2 patterns we’ve been able to adjust HVAC time schedules to match real occupancy levels - the building was previously scheduled for occupancy 24/7 365 days per year. This has resulted in significant energy savings by reducing unnecessary heating and cooling, as well as cutting down on wear and tear of HVAC equipment. 💼 The Power of Data: With real-time data and monitoring, we can identify, investigate, and resolve IEQ issues while optimizing energy use, ensuring a more comfortable and sustainable working environment.
