📢 Breaking The Silence 📢 As highlighted by the World Literacy Foundation, certain demographics are facing severe challenges, with White working-class boys particularly affected. Shockingly, three quarters of these boys fail to meet the basic vocabulary benchmark set by the government by the age of 16. The impact of literacy (or the lack thereof) extends far beyond education. According to the National Literacy Trust (2018): 📉 A girl born in an area with the greatest literacy challenges is expected to live 20.9 years shorter than a girl born in an area with fewer literacy challenges. 📉 A boy in similar circumstances will live 26.1 years shorter than his peers in more literate areas. #LiteracyMatters #AdultEducation #CommunityEmpowerment #HealthAndWellbeing #Safeguarding

🌟 Can anyone please help? 🌟 I appreciate this is a longshot but we are currently on a mission to transform understanding and empathy for families facing social and economic hardships in the UK. As part of our upcoming Family Support Open Day, we are seeking to create an immersive, eye-opening experience for professionals and commissioners. Our goal is to help them walk in the shoes of the families we support, to truly grasp the daily struggles and the profound impact of early intervention. To achieve this, we need your help. We are looking for virtual reality (VR) programs and resources that can simulate the harsh realities of social and economic deprivation. These VR experiences will provide an essential tool in our event, offering a powerful, first-hand perspective on the lives of disadvantaged families. Your expertise and connections can make a significant difference. If you know of any VR programs, developers, or resources that align with our needs, please reach out. Your support will help us create an unforgettable experience that fosters deep understanding and drives meaningful action. Join us in making a difference. Share your insights, recommend resources, or connect us with those who can help. Together, we can build a more empathetic and informed community dedicated to supporting families in need. This is not a profit making opportunity, we are a small charity making big and innovative impact! Thank you for your invaluable support. #FamilySupport #VirtualReality #SocialImpact #EmpathyBuilding #CommunitySupport #Nonprofit #EarlyIntervention #EconomicDeprivation #CharityEvent #SocialGood #StakeholderEngagement #philanthropy #investors #InnovativeSolutions #CommunityEngagement #SupportFamilies #ImpactfulChange
