Part 1 Exciting News for Nature's SAFE SAFE! Last week marked a groundbreaking moment for coral conservation, and I’m thrilled to share it with you! We had the honour of being invited to the Horniman Museum and Gardens, home to some of the world’s rarest coral species, to collaborate with Dr Jamie Craggs FLS and his incredible team. Their world-class scientific research is making a vital impact in the fight to save endangered corals. Our visit coincided with the annual coral spawning event, a magical occurrence tied to the lunar cycle and spanning just two nights each year. For what we believe is the first time in the UK and Europe, we successfully captured and froze coral semen. Even more exciting, our trial using thawed semen resulted in the successful fertilisation of coral eggs - an incredible breakthrough for coral conservation! This is just the beginning. Being part of Part 1 of this innovative process has been hugely inspiring, and I can’t wait to share updates as we move forward into Part 2!
