We are excited to announce details of our extended partnership with British Dressage (BD) for 2025. In addition to extensive live coverage across all levels of the sport, H&C will also produce two documentary series underpinning core BD objectives. There’s a feast of live sport for dressage fans to look forward to in 2025. As in previous years members of Horse & Country’s streaming service, H&C+, can enjoy live coverage of BD’s two major championships, the NAF Five Star Winter Dressage Championships and the LeMieux National Dressage Championships. We are excited to announce details of a new wide-ranging partnership with ShowjumpingIreland (SJI), the Governing Body for showjumping in the country 🐎 The new arrangement rekindles H&C’s longstanding relationship with SJI, dating back to 2010, and will see all the action from the 2025 Plusvital Premier Series shown live on H&C’s streaming service, H&C+. The Series will be completely free to view worldwide and will also be hosted on SJI’s own platform, SJI Live. In addition to the live stream, marquee classes from the Series will be broadcast live on H&C’s 24/7 TV channel, Horse & Country, which is distributed on cable and FAST platforms in many key equestrian markets around the world including the UK, the US, the Netherlands and Scandinavia. 

It's been a golden year for British Equestrian 🥇 Our new series Postcards from Paris tells the story of the 2024 Games in the words of the people who were there 🐎   The series features extensive interviews with the athletes, grooms, owners, and the overall team behind the team, offering a unique insight into a truly exceptional Games. Working closely with British Equestrian (BEF), the national federation of equestrian sport in the UK, we have had access to the athletes who competed at the Games as well as other key members of the support team and owners! Today marks the launch of Episode 1 of the MOCHARA All Star Academy! 🌟 This is the 5th season of our most popular reality series and we headed back to the Talland School of Equitation in Gloucestershire, where our lucky All Star contestants battled it out under the ever-watchful eye of international dressage riders and trainers, Pammy and Charlie Hutton. The Mochara All Star Academy brings together eight amateur riders and their horses in a competition over a week to find the All Star Champion. Contestants ride their own horses and the Talland schoolmasters, participate in a variety of different challenges testing their equine knowledge and perseverance as well as their riding ability, and receive lots of great goodies from our participating sponsors! This year is set to be like no other - with Megan Elphick presenting the series along with a stellar line up of celebrity coaches. The new format for the show sees all eight riders participate up to the last day, when the final four will be chosen to take part in the Finale to choose this year's Mochara All Star Champion! Episodes will air weekly on H&C+ 📹

One of those rare occasions when work and life come together in perfect harmony. Long story short. Earlier this year, I discovered a poem, written by my great grandfather, a ploughman from Inverkeilor in Scotland, expressing his grief at his horse being requisitioned for World War I. The poem is now at the heart of equine charity Brooke's Remembrance Day campaign with a beautiful reading by poet James Robertson. Riding with the Reddens is back for season 2! 🎞 Season 1 followed cousins Abigail Bennett and Emma Redden through their 2023 event season as they attempted to qualify for and compete at the USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds. In season 2 we return to Abby and Emma's eventing journey, but with the addition of Annie Redden. The girls face tougher competitions in the 2024 season with new horses, but with the support from their families and coaches, they learn that eventing is as much about perseverance, resilience, and growth as it is about winning 🐎 Episodes 1 & 2 are now available to watch on H&C+, with new episodes dropping weekly! An exciting day as we announced the 8 contestants for the 2024 MOCHARA All Star Academy 🌟🐎 🌟 Jade Affleck is a 30 year old Security Officer and she will be riding her gorgeous Skewbald Eddie! 🌟Fifi Andrews is a 22 year old Yard Manager from Essex who will be riding her super Welsh D called Nebo! 🌟Andrew Ttophi is a 34 year old Sales agent and Livery yard co-ordinator from Wales and he’ll be riding Bonita who is also known as Bon Bon to her friends! 🌟Beth Hart is a 30 year old Flight Attendant from Warwickshire and she’ll be riding her beautiful grey Connemara Cobweb! 🌟Gareth Eva is a 33 year old Plumber from Devon and he’ll be riding his wonderful Irish Sports Horse Jack! 🌟Julia Hudswell is a 55 year old Project Administrator from Hampshire and she’ll be riding her super Irish Sports Horse Max! 🌟Molly Hurst is 30 years old and from the High Peaks, she’ll be riding her gorgeous Skewbald Belle! 🌟Beccy Wood is a 41 year old journalist and she’ll be riding her lovely horse Quinn!
