  • 💙 THANK YOU! 💙 To our supporters, sponsors, borrowers, volunteers and incredible team, Your dedication, love, and belief in HAPPA have made this year unforgettable. Thanks to you, we’ve given so many horses a safe space, a warm stable, and a second chance. Each nicker and tail swish of gratitude from our four-legged friends is because of YOU. 💙 This year, we’ve witnessed stories of resilience, heart warming new beginnings, and bonds that can’t be broken. Whether you donated, volunteered, fostered, rehomed, or simply shared our posts, you’ve been a part of something extraordinary. If we could line up all our horses to thank you personally, we would. But, as you can imagine, it’d be utter 'neighhem'. 🐴🤣 As we gallop into 2025, we’re filled with hope, ambition, and a promise to keep making a difference. Together, we can give even more horses a second chance. So, here’s to another year of making a hoof-print that matters. Wishing you and your loved ones a New Year filled with joy, peace, and plenty of carrots! 🥕✨ From all of us at HAPPA, have a very Happy New Year! 🐴🎉 #HAPPA #NewYearsEve #ThankYou #RescueToRehome #HAPPA #RescueHorses #secondchance #equinewelfare #horserescue

  • Rupert living his best life in the snow! ❄️ This beautiful boy arrived at Shores Hey Farm earlier this year after he was found living in unsuitable conditions. His stable was extremely dirty, which he never got to leave, his feet were long, and he was very underweight. It was devastating to see such a lovely pony in such an awful state. 💔 At the beginning, he was a little aggressive towards humans, but after the team gave him some food in his stable, he began to settle and relax. Once Rupert realised he would be fed regularly and was no longer going to be left to starve, he slowly became less aggressive. It's really hard to image what must have been going through Rupert's head, no one should have to worry about when their next meal will come. After completing his isolation period, Rupert was taken to the vets to be castrated and was such a good boy! His recovery went really well and he is now enjoying lots of love, cuddles and playing around in the field with his new friends! 🐎💙 Rupert has come on leaps and bounds since arriving earlier this year and we couldn't be prouder of him and the Equine Care Team for their hard work. 👏 Although Rupert still has a lot to learn, and his rehabilitation journey will be a long process, we are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for him! • Meet Our New Rehoming Ponies! 🐴👋 Throughout this weekend, we'll be sharing with you our amazing rideable ponies who are looking for their forever home! 🏡✨ Today, we'd like you to meet Truffle - 🎂 Born 2017 📏 Height: 11.3hh 🐴 Shetland X 🎨 Bay 🩷 Mare Truffle was born here at Shores Hey Farm in 2017, and she’s been stealing hearts ever since! ❤ This lovely mare had a brilliant start to life, spending her early years growing up and maturing through our foster scheme after being weaned from her mum, HAPPA Toffee. At the age of four, Truffle began her backing process and has come on leaps and bounds since then. She’s now working beautifully in the school, going in all three paces and starting to pop over small jumps, showing great potential. Truffle enjoys her work and has also been hacking out with no fuss – she’s calm, willing, and ready for her next adventure. 🐎🌳 We think Truffle would make a fantastic lead rein or first ridden pony with the right confident handler and rider to help her continue learning and building her skills. She’s still young and developing but has a lovely temperament and bags of potential to become a brilliant children’s pony. Truffle has also helped with Own a Pony days and pony grooming sessions here at HAPPA, and she’s a star at standing patiently to be groomed. Like many mares, she can have her moments, but it’s all part of her personality! ☺️ We’re looking for a loving home for Truffle where she’ll have turnout available all year round, especially in winter to keep her feeling settled. She’s happy turning out with mares and geldings and will need her grazing carefully managed in spring and summer to maintain her health, as she is a good doer. If you’re looking for a pony like Truffle, she’s ready and waiting for her second chance. ❤ Click the links to find out more about this lovely mare and whether she’s the right one for you! 🔗 What is rehoming?: https://lnkd.in/eznmi7-E Rehoming FAQs: https://lnkd.in/ei5WcvM7 More about Truffle: https://lnkd.in/e5NekZ9i #HAPPA #rehomingappeal #RescueHorses #secondchance #EquineWelfare #foreverhome #horses #pony
