BRITISH BUTTERNUT! Historically we’ve been unable to grow this wonder veg on UK soil because of our cold climate. A new variety that’s more robust has made this possible, Lucy explains in more detail the journey we’ve been on 🧡🇬🇧 #britishfarming #butternut #betterwithbutternut #squash #innovation #sustainablefarming #growers #vegetables #dreambigworkhard

As we close the chapter on this year's lettuce harvest season, I'm filled with a mix of gratitude and admiration for the incredible efforts of our dedicated harvest teams. From the first planting to the final harvest, every member of our teams has demonstrated unwavering commitment, resilience, and hard work. It's been a season of growth, learning, and exceptional teamwork, all contributing to the success we've achieved. As we say goodbye to this harvest season, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every one of our team members. Your passion and perseverance have been truly inspiring. While we bid farewell to the fields for now, the lessons and memories we've gathered will carry us forward into the next season with renewed vigor and determination. Here's to celebrating our accomplishments and looking forward to future successes together. #Harvest2024 #Agriculture #Farewell #TeamEffort #SustainableFarming

Our famous Fenland Celery PGI is now in season!🥬🚜 Fenland celery is a unique white winter celery that dates back to the Victorian times when the crop was specially grown in the Fens for sale in the Christmas markets in London.🎄 Its nutty, sweet flavour and famous crisp crunch can be attributed to the rich peat soil of the Fens. Today’s Fenland celery looks much the same as it did 150 years ago. Look out for its leafy top and pale white stick, cut to a point by hand, as tradition dictates. Every bite is a journey through time and taste, from its unique flavour to its rich history. 🍽️ This special crop is only available for 8 short weeks… the advice is to get it while you can! Find Fenland Celery in your nearest Waitrose, M&S or buy it on Ocado. #FenlandCelery #GsFresh #BackBritishFarming #FarmFresh #FarmtoFork
