The design concept created by Kuechel Architects makes the Canvas Bar & Lounge not only a place of indulgence, but one of interaction – a place where hotel and external guests alike can come together in an informal setting. “With the new Canvas Bar & Lounge, we wanted to create a space that combines comfort and elegance while highlighting the connection to the Hotel’s art collection,” explained Markus Granelli, General Manager of the Dolder Grand. Tucked away in a Mayfair mews, SILVA is a new day-to-night restaurant, opened in November. Derived from the Latin word for “forest,” SILVA’s menu will evolve in harmony with the seasons, taking inspiration from across the Mediterranean all the way to Japan to deliver a modern restaurant for modern Londoners. Founder Daria Grebenyuk and her experienced team have created an elegant space that will focus on a convivial atmosphere and warm hospitality at the heart of Bruton Place, a location known for its independent restaurants, retailers and galleries.

Virgin Hotels has appointed David Monson as General Manager for Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch, its first London hotel from the luxury lifestyle brand. British bedmaker, Hypnos Beds, has been appointed by His Majesty King Charles III with a Royal Warrant as Manufacturers of Beds, Mattresses and Upholstery.
