Slush truly lived up to its name! Despite the weather, it’s been an great experience—from breakfast at the British Embassy with the always fantastic Lisa S. and Kimberly Dickson to interesting one-on-ones, insightful talks (even if successful founders often share similar advice), and meaningful meetings with both old and new connections. Thanks to all who invited me to events and meetings!

Just back from an outstanding week in Helsinki #Slush24 with #GBIP #Createch. Big focus on #AI and its potential but what struck me however is how Slush is so #human. Its #people who make this event with back to back #networking. It was a pleasure to #collaborate on events Johanna Savolainen Kim Wedral Gareth Deakin Michael French Johanna Niemistö and hook up with established #GBIP friends Nicholas Betts Abbie Morris Ivan Novikov and make new #vc #connections (too many to mention). It was fulfilling to see #GBIP delegates grow in confidence during the week and develop #relationships and explore opportunities for #collaboration. It was my first time in Finland and at SLUSH, and I couldn’t feel luckier: One of the highlights of my trip was meeting the incredible beneficiaries of the first EmpoWomen Program Open Call. Spending time with them at the booth and hearing their inspiring stories was a privilege. Witnessing these women chase their dreams is nothing short of empowering. But the main mission of my trip? #EfectoCascada, our podcast! At SLUSH, I had the incredible opportunity to interview experts across fields like film, music, gaming, and immersive reality. Let me tell you, it was the experience of a lifetime. These outstanding individuals shared not only their stories but also their passion, which left me deeply inspired.
