#FishWasteforProfit is well underway! 🐟 The keynote panel shared expertise on how collaboration can accelerate full utilisation of fish products and what support systems are currently available. Next, we had presentations that covered opportunities that connect land and sea - pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, feed, pet foods, biofuels, and fertilizers etc, with emphasis on fish blood, how it can improve pet and human research and finding a more sustainable method for harvesting of zooplankton. The Icelandic Fisheries, Seafood and Aqua Exhibition has been at the heart of innovation, #sustainability, and global collaboration for four decades, as the Minister said "It is clear innovation is key to a sustainable future for Icelandic Fisheries".
