Exciting News! The ICRS Debate is back! Join us for the ICRS Debate on March 25, 2025, from 14:30-17:00 at the Royal Society of Arts in London, where we will dive deep into the topic: "Greed is Good." We'll hear from a panel of distinguished speakers as they unpack the dynamic relationship between profit and sustainable progress. The famous words of Milton Friedman remind us that “The business of business is business,” yet we find ourselves at a crossroads. As the conversation around sustainability grows louder, we must ask ourselves: Can we reconcile shareholder value with the pressing need for environmental and social responsibility? Amidst today's political and economic challenges, it’s crucial to explore whether aligning with traditional economic views can truly foster meaningful progress, or if the relentless pursuit of profit stands in direct opposition to a sustainable future. Let’s engage in this critical discussion and connect with passionate peers in the field! The debate will be followed by refreshments and networking, providing an excellent opportunity to share ideas and insights. Don't miss out on this chance to contribute to the conversation about the future of business and sustainability!
