The grand opening of Mareterra, Monaco’s landmark development, brought together partners, collaborators and guests to celebrate this exceptional achievement. It's a huge milestone for all involved. We are proud to have been a part of it and witness the transformation from concept to present day, as we recently joined the celebrations for its official launch. Our local team in Monaco has been working hard over the past twelve months to deliver projects supported more widely by our engineering, technical, and logistics teams in the UK. This combination of our local team and wider company infrastructure and resources allows us to deliver on such a scale. A big shout out to our local and international team involved! IF THESE WALLS COULD TALK. The Orbit Room is the heart of the Ideaworks London Experience Centre - a space designed to immerse you in technology, digital art, and design. Beneath the surface, behind fabrics, curtains and screens, we have created a listening space aimed at comparing what you hear, not immediately what you see. A blind listening experience. The room houses over a dozen speaker combinations to compare, as well as regularly playing host to various 'guest systems' when we are presenting to specific projects. Doing the Right Thing. Ideaworks has made significant strides over the past year in both environmental sustainability and supporting the local community. We are delighted that this has been recognised through an improved PRIME score of 19. We are PRIME.™ is a social enterprise which helps companies improve their environmental and social impact. As a founding member of We are PRIME.™, we look to embed environmental responsibility into our operations. 🌱 Environmental Achievements: 🖇️ We have implemented a zero-to-landfill policy in the UK, directing non-recyclable waste towards energy production and have consistently reduced waste per turnover. 🖇️ We have switched to eco-friendly, refillable cleaning supplies, cutting down plastic use, whilst improvements in our supply chain have included a 60% yearly reduction in plastic bubble wrap. 🖇️ All our Faversham sites are now powered by 100% renewable energy. 🖇️ We have bolstered local hiring across our EU projects to reduce air miles and an employee electric car scheme offsetting 126,921 miles of carbon emissions. 🤝 Community Support: 🖇️ We raised over £15,000 for charities, including Together For Cinema, which installs cinemas in locations that serve children and young adults. 🖇️ £12,000 raised by our directors during the Three Peaks Challenge in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. 🖇️ Through our training academy, we support local schools and provide work experience placements, fostering a pipeline of future industry talent. These initiatives reflect our commitment to both environmental improvement and supporting the local community. The Ideaworks team had an inspiring visit to HIX (Hotel Interiors Experience Exhibition). Seeing some of the stands' effort, scale, and diversity was amazing.   We loved the new installation project, which tasked four leading design studios with reimagining Islington’s iconic Business Design Centre as a hotel experience. Thanks to Purcell, 4 Corners Design, 3Stories, and Atellior for sharing your creative concepts with us.   It was great to speak to new faces and old friends from across the hotel design industry as we gained inspiration for our projects and look to the future to bring our wealth of knowledge and experience in luxury lighting design to more luxury residential, hotel and yacht projects!
