It is our pleasure to be working on a £2.4m strategic partnership with North Yorkshire Council! We are helping the newly formed Council to consolidate its eight planning and building control processes into a single cloud system. They now face a bright future of cost savings, enhanced service delivery, and efficiency of resource allocation. This partnership follows the UK government’s plan to simplify, redesign, and modernise local authorities. It is a challenge Idox are uniquely well-equipped to tackle, considering our past success with consolidation projects in Cornwall, Shropshire, and Durham. Graeme Thistlethwaite, Head of Systems and Applications, at North Yorkshire Council commented: "We are excited to be working with Idox to consolidate our eight planning and building control systems into one new cloud system to transform our service now and, in the years, to come. The aim of this is to deliver excellent value for money services while improving outcomes for local people, businesses, and communities across North Yorkshire." It’s no secret the public sector is reaping the rewards of using #UniquePropertyReferenceNumbers (#UPRN) to link location data and deliver services more efficiently. Increasingly, commercial organisations from utilities to insurance companies, the finance sector to the property market are recognising the benefits of using the UPRNs for the same pinpoint precision and data connectivity. And by using an address management system that integrates seamlessly with your operational systems to centrally store AddressBase Premium data complete with UPRNs/USRNs, you can ensure consistency, accuracy and connectivity organisation-wide.
