Submit an abstract to our parallel session on finance at the 2025 Global #TippingPoints conference: "Tipping points and finance: risks, drivers and intervention points"! Convened by UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) and Environmental Change Institute (ECI), University of Oxford, we welcome conceptual, empirical, modelling, and policy submissions on how macro-financial systems are exposed to cascading risks from environmental tipping points; strategies and considerations for aligning financial flows with safe and just planetary boundaries; and whether and how finance can be a leverage point to reduce the risk of Earth system tipping points. Any other topics at the intersection of finance and systemic environmental threats are welcome, as are interdisciplinary approaches. Deadline for abstract submission - 19 March.
