Happy World Radiography Day! The 8th November marks the anniversary of the discovery of X-rays in 1895. Our Imaging Team here at IMAGE ANALYSIS GROUP is proud to be a part of the global community passionate about radiographic imaging and therapy, which play a crucial role in the diagnosis and the treatment of patients. When we design and plan the trials, we make sure that we speak to our Sponsor about keeping radiation to the minimum required, hence improving the quality of patient care, while getting invaluable insights about new treatments. Today, we share the first clinical #CT scan was acquired on this date October 1, 1971 at Atkinson Morley Hospital in the UK, by the British engineer Godfrey Hounsfield. It took 30 minutes for the scan and 2.5 hours to process the data....Just compare this beast of an image to the today's 7T MRI beauty.
