👨🔬 Dr Vincenzo Spallina, Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at The University of Manchester, attended a roundtable in Parliament hosted by the Industry and Parliament Trust (IPT) on using low carbon hydrogen to decarbonise. ⛽ Hydrogen could be fundamental to the decarbonisation of heavy transport, industrial clusters, and high temperature industrial processes. ⚛️ Attendees considered the production and distribution of hydrogen, the roles of blue and green hydrogen and the scale up of technology needed for a low carbon hydrogen economy. 💬 Vincenzo appeared alongside: Professor Baroness Brown Julia King DBE FREng FRS, Chair of the Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology and Mark Bradley, Hydrogen Director at ScottishPower.
