Had a great day at the iNetwork conference in #Manchester yesterday along with my colleagues Richard and Ryan and Engage Process talking about 'People Driven Change' and our journey through local government reorganisation. We covered the challenges for North Yorkshire Council, how we used Engage Process to support us with our improvements, and how we are going to develop our approach to change and transformation going forward. It was great to finally meet Ted, Johanna and Dick in person. Thanks to you all for allowing us to be part of the experience! Other than our slot on the agenda, we had the opportunity to listen to the other speakers about various topics with themes around how people and culture contribute to change, digital innovation and how important data and governance are. #iNetwork2024

I thoroughly enjoyed representing the Influencing Transport Lab as a panellist alongside Colin Strong (FMRS) where we spoke about behavioural insights in the public sector at the iNetwork conference. We discussed a range of topics: examples of where behavioural science has worked well, where unintended consequences have been found, misinformation, the environment and cyber security. Thanks for chairing this session William Joseph Smith and putting forward insightful discussion points. Finishing the week off feeling positive after hearing about some of the amazing work taking place across the public sector! #behaviouralscience #publicsector #influencingtransportlab #TfWM
Up next at 2:20 is our panel session “Behavioural Insights in the Public Sector” at our iNetwork 19th Annual Conference! William Joseph Smith will be chairing the session, alongside our credible speakers Colin Strong (FMRS) (Ipsos) and Dr Tami K. (Transport for West Midlands). Don’t forget, if you registered for this event, you have access to this content for up to 3 months! #iNetwork2024

Yesterday was jam packed, I attended the iNetwork Annual Conference, opened by Alison McKenzie-Folan OBE . There was much discussion about managing change as leaders, from Robert Ling and Emily Sullivan and the challenges of doing more with less! 💡 The later part of the day was connecting with like minded women, meet old and new faces Linda Humphries Jen Rudd Nicola Wallace Dean Beena Puri and having a giggle about the potential winning 🏆 outcomes of a night at #Bongo #Bingo, so then Helen McHugh fill us in? Has anyone won anything interesting before at bingo?

Thank you to iNetwork for the opportunity to join the Annual Conference in Manchester today! We always enjoy engaging in collaborative conversations and hearing from customers, partners and other attendees across the public sector. A few highlights include the panel on Leading the Public Sector through Change, discussing the role of leadership in creating a culture of open communication and celebrating wins in Local Government. Also a big thank you to Richard Storey, Sharon McLurkin and Ryan Flannigan of North Yorkshire Council for sharing their story on engaging the organisation to create people-driven change, improving services as they merge 8 councils into one and the support they experienced from using Engage Process to reach their goals. #iNetwork2024
