Following our trip to the Schneider Factory in Barcelona, this week we were privileged to spend time with the Schneider Electric team here in California. Our team travelled to the facility to see the Pod data centre solution. These solutions are innovative and tailor made by Schneider to fit the project requirements. It has been great to be here as part of the one team approach and work collaboratively on this exciting project. Team members from APM Terminals, A.P. Moller - Maersk, Tata Consultancy Services and Cisco all joined together. Daniel Morris, Tony Quinnell, Yemi Kolawole and I travelled to Barcelona to visit the Schneider Electric factory. This visit allowed the A.P. Moller - Maersk/ APM Terminals team to collaborate and promote our one team approach with our suppliers. The delivery team for the Terminal Infrastructure Platform Refresh Programme have been assessing containerised data centre solutions to support lifting global trade. It has been informative and insightful spending time with the Schneider team, it has been impressive the way that BIM data has been used to create 3D drawings then observing the product in reality. Innovations used along with robust requirements management processes safeguard and protect operational excellence and strengthen the safer, better, bigger strategy.
