This Roe Day, we reflect on the courageous abortion care professionals and clinic workers who have been targeted and killed for providing abortion care. We lift up their names in memoriam to honor their lives and remind us all of what is at stake when abortion care is stigmatized. Misinformation and stigma around abortion don’t just harm those in need of care: they endanger the health care professionals who persevere in providing essential reproductive health care. We thank those who stand up for reproductive health care and our members who continue to provide evidence-based care. Read our memoriam: https://bit.ly/3Cfqmub

I recently attended the "Collaboration for the Elimination of Cervical Cancer" webinar hosted by FIGO (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics). The insights shared deepened my understanding of the challenges in eradicating cervical cancer, including the need for increased awareness and better healthcare access. One powerful statement from the session was, "No woman should die from a preventable and treatable disease." This sentiment inspired me to take tangible steps towards contributing to the fight against cervical cancer in the community I am serving. I highly recommend checking out FIGO (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics) upcoming webinars. They offer a unique opportunity to learn from experts and stay updated on the latest research.
