More than 150,000 people have been displaced by the wildfires here in our hometown of Los Angeles, and many people left home with little more than what they could carry. We’re continuing to support health access for people who’ve been affected, and to distribute hygiene kits, first-aid kits, KN95 masks and other essential supplies. UPDATE: Our first priority as we respond to the LA wildfires is to help maintain health access for people who’ve been affected. We’ve distributed essential relief supplies to more than 1,000 people and we’re coordinating with local health facilities and first responders to provide surge staffing and mobile health and mental health teams, as well as critically needed medicines, medical equipment and supplies. We are working closely with local health partners and governments to deliver relief supplies and healthcare services to communities affected by the LA Wildfires. The humanitarian crisis in #Syria remains severe. Numerous health facilities are either non-operational or functioning at minimal capacity, limiting access to healthcare. As hundreds of thousands of people return to the country, we are continuing to provide primary healthcare and mental health through hospitals and clinics that we support, as well as through 21 mobile medical units. As conflict continues in #Sudan, thousands of people are fleeing their homes, facing extreme hardship and uncertainty. We’re there, providing essential healthcare, nutrition support and more to communities in need. Together, we’re helping families build resilience in the face of crisis.

We recently hosted a workshop in #Ethiopia focused on #MentalHealth data management. Participants from various organizations gained hands-on experience with tools to enhance data collection, analysis and visualization. The training also aimed to strengthen nationwide coordination for mental health support.
