Tebrio breaks ground on world’s largest insect farm in #Spain Tebrio, a biotechnology company specialising in mealworm production, has begun construction on what will be the world’s largest insect farm in Salamanca, Spain. Study finds lactic acid enhances pathogen inactivation in raw petfood using HPP A new study has shown that combining lactic acid with high-pressure processing (HPP) improves pathogen inactivation in raw petfood. Published in the Journal of Food Protection, the research addresses the health risks posed by pathogens like E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria in raw petfoods, particularly chicken-based formulas. https://lnkd.in/dWd5DQCD
