G . F Smith's Colorplan Vinyl project is a first-of-its-kind creative collaboration between paper, sound and design. For their latest Colorplan printed promotion, G . F Smith turned to the creative talent within Manchester School of Arts’ Graphic Design course, setting third and second years the brief of designing the cover art for their ‘Portal - the sound of colour’ vinyl album - a soundscape developed by Father that reflects all 55 colours in the Colorplan range. The 10 final covers, all printed onto Colorplan by Pressision, Creative Print & Packaging, will be on display as part of our festival marketplace on 28th November. As partners of this year’s International Assembly the G . F Smith team will be on hand to connect, answer any questions and inspire with beautiful paper samples.
