Fife Business Week 2024 has been hailed a major success, with over 690 attendees participating in 22 events, further solidifying its reputation as a key event for Fife's business community. Organised by Fife Council’s Economic Development Team and Business Gateway Fife, the week delivered a range of workshops, networking opportunities, and sector-focused events. Highlights included ‘Hydrogen Opportunities for Fife Businesses,’ the popular ‘How to Sell at Trade Shows’, and the ‘Fife Tourism Showcase,’ which highlighted opportunities within the region’s thriving tourism sector. Congratulations to Briggs Marine on securing a contract to provide Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) services to the EDF Renewables UK & Ireland and ESB-owned NEART NA GAOITHE OFFSHORE WIND LIMITED (NnG) offshore wind farm project. Briggs Marine continues to support the offshore wind sector having secured a contract to provide Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) services to the EDF Renewables UK & Ireland and ESB-owned NEART NA GAOITHE OFFSHORE WIND LIMITED (NnG) offshore wind farm project as it progresses from the construction phase into the operations and maintenance phase. The three-year contract will see Briggs Marine continue to provide its CTV Vessel, Forth Engineer, to facilitate the transfer of technicians and equipment from NnG’s operations and maintenance base in Eyemouth to the offshore wind farm in the Firth of Forth.
