Last week, Investment20/20 had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic workplace visit at Savills Investment Management for students from St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College. This event was a wonderful opportunity for students to gain first hand experience and insights into the dynamic world of investment management. The day started with a warm welcome and an introduction to Savills Investment Management by Louis Cobben and Maggie McQuaid MRICS. The students were then treated to an engaging office tour and had the chance to meet both current and alumni trainees, including Keren Speed, Caitlin Banks, Faheem Hure, Michael Adjei, Genevieve Martin, Bodhana Kolla, and Francesca Cardigan. Students took part in an interactive activity looking at property investments. Lucy Williams and Victoria Morrison ran this session, providing valuable insights and hands-on experience in the field. A special thank you to all the volunteers who shared their experiences and insights, making the visit truly inspiring for the students. Your enthusiasm and willingness to engage with the students have left a lasting impression and have helped them think more deeply about a career in the investment management industry. We are grateful for the collaboration with St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College and look forward to working with their students throughout the academic year.
