📢 Call for Papers: Exploring #Plasticity Across Disciplines We are excited to announce an open call for manuscripts for a special issue of Interdisciplinary Science Reviews titled: "The Shapeshifters: Plasticity from Cells to Society." Plasticity—the ability to adapt, reshape, and transform while maintaining a core essence—is a concept with profound resonance across fields, from neuroscience and cell biology to the #humanities. However, its definition and applications vary widely. This special issue aims to ask pivotal questions: • What #epistemologicalwork does the term plasticity perform across disciplines? • Can a unified theory of plasticity accommodate its diverse meanings and applications while respecting their uniqueness? We invite scholars—individually or in collectives—from all fields to contribute manuscripts that bridge and redefine plasticity across disciplines.
