Since then, she has shown an unwavering commitment to driving progress within the bid function and the broader sales team, ensuring we meet and exceed our goals. She is an inspiration to those she works with and is seen as someone who “gets things done” whilst maintaining strong relationships with her peers and co-workers. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Seema was recognised at our Town Hall in December for her hard work and exceptional results – a testament to the impact she has made. Beyond her role, Seema is also a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, serving as a member of our DEI council. We’d like to celebrate another one of our team members as we approach International Women’s Day. Today the spotlight is on Morgan Hillier, our fantastic Receptionist who has been a vital part of our team for the past two years. Morgan joined us after completing her studies in History and Social Policy, where she specialised in Irish Women in Society and wrote her dissertation on the 1975 Sex Discrimination Act in Protecting Women in the Workplace. Her academic background reflects her strong commitment to social justice and gender equality, making her journey with us even more special. With her upbeat and outgoing personality, Morgan is the first friendly face many of us see every day and an essential touchpoint for our employees. But her impact goes beyond reception—she is a true champion of charitable causes. Morgan takes no direction on charity support but leads the way with her heart. Whether rallying our team for Macmillan Cancer Coffee Mornings, the Mrs Claus Drive for Glasgow Women’s Aid, or taking on the Kilt Walk annually with her friends and family to support MND Scotland, her passion for helping others is truly inspiring. Although tech wasn’t where she originally saw her career going, Morgan has taken a proactive approach to learning about the business, engaging with different teams, and growing her knowledge. Today we’re proud to celebrate the inspiring journey of Julie Brown.   Since joining Iomart in November 2022, Julie has demonstrated what it means to be a trailblazer in the workplace. Starting as Iomart’s first in-house counsel, Julie quickly expanded her role to take on the additional responsibility of Company Secretary for the entire group.   Julie’s energy, proactivity, and unwavering commitment to putting both Iomart and its employees first have made her an invaluable part of our team. She is a master at balancing multiple priorities, juggling various roles, and showing resilience in the face of challenges - qualities that inspire others around her.   Julie’s contribution to the company hasn’t gone unnoticed - she was recognised for her outstanding work in both our Summer and Winter 2024 Internal Awards.   But, Julie’s influence goes beyond awards and titles - her journey is a testament to overcoming imposter syndrome and the importance of speaking up, especially when you’re in the minority.
