At iPac, we’re proud to partner with Bupa Business UK and offer their Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to our team, reinforcing our commitment to a workplace culture that prioritises employee well-being and support. 💚 The EAP provides employees and their families with access to 24/7 confidential support from a team of professionals, offering expert guidance on personal and workplace issues. From counselling sessions and mental health resources to practical advice on finances, the programme provides tailored assistance for every unique situation. This initiative is an investment in our people. By addressing mental health challenges proactively, we’re fostering a resilient, engaged, and motivated workforce. Employees who feel supported perform at their best while contributing to a positive and productive environment. We’re already seeing the incredible impact the EAP has had on our team, and we encourage other businesses to explore its benefits. Supporting your employees isn’t just good practice, it’s the foundation of creating a positive workplace culture. #MentalHealthSupport #EmployeeSupport #EAP

The well-being of our team at iPac has always been a top priority—and we're committed to keeping it that way! We’re thrilled to announce that our HR Manager, Hannah Catto, recently completed a training program and has proudly earned the FutureQuals Level 3 Award in Mental Health: Workplace First Aider qualification. A huge thank you to St John Ambulance for delivering such an insightful and valuable course, which has equipped Hannah to provide added support and guidance around mental health within our workplace. In addition to this achievement, we’re also proud to provide our very own Employee Assistance Program (EAP) number, giving every team member direct access to confidential support whenever they need it. Whether it’s a friendly chat, a listening ear, or practical support during challenging times, we’re here to make sure iPac is a place where well-being isn’t just a policy—it’s part of who we are. #MentalHealthFirstAid #WellbeingNorthEast

It was fantastic to host Mark Ferguson, MP for Gateshead Central and Whickham, at our Gateshead site. 🙌 We talked about iPac’s seven-year journey from start-up to being one of the UK’s largest independent thermoformers, the significance of the thermoforming industry in the North East, and the environmental benefits of recycled plastic within the food packaging sector. #ThermoformedPackaging #FoodPackaging #SustainablePackaging #Gateshead #NorthEastBusiness Jonny Catto

Many thanks to Insider Media for covering our exciting expansion! 📈 This year, we launched a new production site in Country Durham. The facility has provided additional warehousing for 2800 pallets, alongside four fully functional production lines. This expansion marks a significant milestone in our growth journey, allowing us to better support our existing customers while also expanding our market offering in sustainable recycled thermoformed packaging. Last week, our Operations Director, Jean-Louis Gravier, attended the North East Recycling Forum (NERF), an important regional forum for the public, private and community sectors to share knowledge on waste and recycling issues and drive change. ♻️ Jean-Louis presented a talk on the benefits of plastic packaging and the issues around recycled plastic quality and single-use plastics. Sustainability is integral to our manufacturing processes and product offerings at iPac. We work with our customers to enable them to achieve their sustainability targets by producing fully recyclable products made using recycled plastic. Thank you Daxi Environmental for having us and we look forward to the next meeting! This year at our summer social, six employees celebrated five years at iPac! 🎉 Our high employee retention rate is a direct result of the supportive, collaborative, and growth-driven environment we have fostered here at iPac. We believe in nurturing talent from within, giving our dedicated team members the chance to advance their careers and tackle new challenges. We provide structured training programmes to help employees develop their skillsets within our business and achieve their career goals. We would like to thank these employees again for their outstanding dedication, passion, and hard work over the years — we’re beyond grateful to have them as part of our iPac family. Here’s to many more!

Another successful summer social! 🎉 The iPac team recently gathered for our annual summer social to celebrate the company's growth and the hard work and dedication of each and every team member. After Jonny Catto gave his regular company update, the team enjoyed a delicious hog roast and drinks from the well-loved horsebox bar. We also hosted a team quiz and a raffle, which raised more than £300 for Mobile Education Partnerships (MEP). Many thanks to Boutique Event Hire LTD for once again making this event a special one.

Jonny Catto vs Mount Kili = mission complete! ✅👏 Congratulations to our MD on reaching the summit of the world's highest freestanding mountain! Here is how the second half of Jonny's epic challenge went: Day 4: Jonny completed a 26km trek from Moir Hut to the Third Cave Camp, positioned around the North side of Kibo Peak. Day 5: In the morning, he tackled 1,000m of altitude gain to reach School Hut, positioned below the ascent route to Gilman's Point. At 11pm, he met his team for a midnight set-off to Gilman's Point and around the crater of Uhuru Peak - the highest point in Africa. Day 6 and 7: Jonny descended the mountain and returned to base for a shower and a well-earned bed! 🚿🛌💤 We are very proud of what Jonny has achieved during this incredible 7-day excursion, which involved a gruelling 3,500m of ascent. Every penny raised will go directly to supporting the fantastic work that Mobile Education Partnerships (MEP) do. There is still time to donate using the link below! 👉 https://lnkd.in/eKzzq-ca Every donation is hugely appreciated. #MountKilimanjaro #CharityFundraising #FundraisingChallenge

👣 Jonny vs Mount Kili update! 👣 Despite the limited mobile signal, we are delighted to have received an exciting update from our MD, Jonny Catto, from the Mount Kilimanjaro route! 🌍 Day 1: Jonny trekked from Londrossi gate to Mti Mkubwa forest camp (2650m). Day 2: Trekked through the rainforest zone and into the moorland zone to Shira 1 camp (3600m) on the Shira Plateau (a 40 sqkm plateau created when Kilimanjaro collapsed into itself). In the afternoon, Jonny took an optional trek to Shira Peak (3872m), one of the prominent peaks surrounding the plateau, to take in some amazing views of Kibo Peak - which is the final destination. Day 3: Shira 1 to Moir hut (4166m) with a short acclimatisation to 4300m. Jonny has raised 74% of his £5,000 fundraising target for Mobile Education Partnerships (MEP). Help him reach his goal and donate using the link below! ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eKzzq-ca #MountKilimanjaro #FundraisingChallenge
