🌍 Exploring Shared Services in Donegal: A Social Enterprise Study Visit 🚀 Recently, the we co-ordinated a delegation of Scottish social enterprise leaders to Donegal, Republic of Ireland, to explore their innovative shared services model. Their journey was both inspiring and educational, offering valuable insights into community-driven initiatives. Key highlights: 📊 Presentation by Donegal Local Development CLG (DLDC) on regional support 🏥 Visit to No Barriers Foundation, an inclusive health facility 🏛️ Tour of Lifford Old Courthouse, a historic site repurposed as a social enterprise 🏄♂️ Introduction to Liquid Therapy, making surfing accessible to all They also learned about a fascinating Shared Services Pilot where three social enterprises collaborated to employ a shared bookkeeper, freeing up CEOs to focus on other business areas. The findings of this trip were very informative, and Social Enterprise Scotland's Deputy CEO Kim Wallace reflects on the trip in this new guest blog on the ISEO website. https://lnkd.in/eXFEEFyZ Have you experienced a shared services model? We'd love to hear your thoughts!
